Angela's Mexican Food is a food-truck-gone-restaurant.When you first walk in the ambiance hits you like a ton of bricks: the beige walls makes the place seem too big. Our food was served on styrofoam plates giving our eating experience a school cafeteria feel.
My Mom got the Red Chili Combination Platter ($6.50) which was great. It had an ample amount of food and the spices were just right. The refried beans obviously came from a can and the rice was probablypre-made. Also the meat didn't have a lot of fat on it, which was to her liking. Another friend of mine got the Adobada Burrito ($5.00).The meat didn't have a lot of fat so it wasn't too greasy. Plus it had just the right amount of kick to it, which made it taste really favorful. Also it paired well with the sauces. Me, Foodie the Kid, I got a Pollo Torta ($5.25). It was my first time having a torta and although it was a little messy it hit the spot. I would have personally like it if the chicken was seasoned.
Angela's Mexican Food makes food for all the Mexican food lovers in Continental Ranch.
